How do we collect your personal data?

We will collect your personal data through the forms available on the website, but also through the website and the communication that it has with your device and messages of email that you send us.

Hubel Verde will store cookies on your device to personalize and facilitate navigation as much as possible, but also for troubleshooting, statistics, quality assurance, and to monitor system security.

How do we protect your personal data?

Your personal data is kept secure through the adoption of various security measures, both technical and organizational, that ensure that only those Employees who need access to the personal data have access to it, in accordance with the need for access and rules created for the effect.

To protect your personal data, we only use data center providers that offer us adequate and documented security measures, namely, guarantees that your personal data is stored on servers that are maintained in controlled environments with limited access.

Personal data is kept on secure servers with Odoo, S.A. (hereinafter, “Odoo”) with NIPC BE0477472701 and headquartered at Chaussée de Namur 40, 1367 Ramillies, Belgium, which provides us with adequate security guarantees for the protection of personal data against its dissemination, loss, misuse, alteration, processing, or unauthorized access as well as against any other form of unlawful processing.

Similarly, when you browse the website, we protect your data with encryption, such as Transport Layer Security (TLS, which is a security protocol that protects telecommunications over the internet) and your password is stored using a one-way hash, meaning it cannot be retrieved (or disclosed) by anyone, including Hubel Verde, and can only be reset.

Although we take the care and precautions we deem appropriate to protect the personal data you provide and we collect, it is important to be aware that no security system is impenetrable.

Thus, you should take certain precautions, such as, you should keep your password secret and not disclose it to any other person; if you believe your password has been used improperly, you should notify us immediately; you should also be careful to log in and log out whenever you close the browser.

What are your rights

Before we explain how you can exercise your rights, we inform you that the legislation grants you the following rights:

Access: right to obtain confirmation that the personal data concerning you is or is not being processed and, if that is the case, the right to access your personal data;

Rectification: the right to obtain the rectification of the inaccurate personal data concerning you and to have your incomplete personal data completed;

Erasure: the right to obtain the erasure of your personal data when one of the reasons listed in the legislation applies, namely when:

  • Withdraw the consent on which the processing of the data is based and there is no other legal basis for the processing;
  • You object to the processing and there are no prevailing legitimate interests justifying it;
  • The personal data have been processed unlawfully;
  • The personal data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation;
  • The personal data were collected in the context of the provision of information society services.
  • Restriction of processing: the right to obtain the restriction of processing if one of the situations listed in the legislation applies, namely when:
  • Challenge the accuracy of the personal data;
  • The processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests, instead, the restriction of its use;
  • The data controller no longer needs the personal data for processing purposes, but such data is required by the data subject for the establishment, exercise, or defense of a right in legal proceedings;
  • If the data subject has opposed the processing using individual automated decisions.

Opposition: the right to oppose at any time the processing of personal data concerning them;

Portability: the right to receive personal data concerning them in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and the right to transmit those data to another data controller without the controller to whom the personal data were provided being able to prevent it, when the processing is based on consent or contract, or when it is carried out by automated means.

They also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Portugal, the National Data Protection Commission in www.cnpd.pt).

In addition to the rights described above, whenever the basis for data processing is consent, the User has the right to withdraw the consent given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the data processing carried out until that moment.

If you request the deletion of some or all of your personal data, some of the requested services may not be provided to you, and Hubel Verde will retain only the personal data necessary to comply with the legal obligations to which it is bound.

When do we communicate data to third parties?

Hubel Verde may resort to third parties for the provision of certain services, in terms of maintenance, technical support, marketing, billing or payment management, and these may have access to some of the data personal, namely, the data necessary for the contracted purposes.

Hubel Verde ensures that the entities that have access to the data are credible and offer high guarantees of protection, never being transmitted data beyond what is necessary for the provision of the contracted service, remaining, however, Hubel Verde as responsible for the personal data provided.

Hubel Verde may also communicate your data to the following entities:

  • Companies in the business group to which Hubel Verde belongs and with which it has commercial partnerships for the creation and offering of benefits; or also,
  • Other partners outside its business group (with your prior authorization).

Hubel Verde may also transmit data to third parties in the context of investigations, inquiries, and judicial and/or administrative processes or similar in nature, provided that it is duly ordered by a court order in that regard.

The website may contain links to other websites that may collect and process your personal data, and this processing is the exclusive responsibility of the owners of those websites, with Hubel Verde having no responsibility for their policies and/or practices.

Examples of these third parties are Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and YouTube through the buttons that are present on the website.

Data transfers outside the European Union

Your data will be processed by us within the European Economic Area.

If data transfers to countries outside the European Economic Area may occur, Hubel Verde will make the necessary efforts to adopt the appropriate guarantees so that these are carried out in accordance with applicable legislation.

Sensitive personal data

Hubel Verde thanks you for not sending us or revealing any sensitive personal data, that is, information that reveals racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union association, genetic information, biometric information, health data, or data related to the sexual life of a natural person or sexual orientation.

If you still send us or reveal these categories of personal data, they will be immediately deleted.

Changes to the privacy policy

Hubel Verde reserves the right to readjust or change this Privacy Policy at any time, with such changes being published.
