MycoUp – Biofertilizer, biological inoculant, that contains as active ingredient Glomus tenuihypharum, arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus of high efficiency and biological stability, successfully evaluated under various edaphoclimatic conditions.

VitaSoil – Natural active complex for soil regeneration based on beneficial rhizospheric microorganisms that regenerate the microbial population and restore fertility to soils and substrates, in intensive agriculture systems.

Methodology

MycoUp and VitaSoil were applied on December 27, 2021, via sprinkler irrigation, at a rate of 3 kg/ha and 10L/ha, respectively.

Photographic records of treated and untreated plants were made every 15 days. The production took place between April 6 and 20, with the production estimate made by weighing 6m² of the treated plot and 6m² of the untreated one (2 repetitions of 3m² each).

Results and Discussion

During the onion cycle, an intense branching of the root system was observed in the treated plots, which allowed for greater absorption of water and nutrients from the soil solution, contributing to greater vigor and yield of the crop. As can be seen, the production of the treated plot was higher compared to the control, approximately 8.2 ton/ha (+7%), which provided an economic return to the producer of more 2,631 €/ha in the treated plot, considering the average value of 0.35 €/kg paid to the producer.

The combined use of MycoUp and VitaSoil provides greater availability of nutrients to the crop, increasing soil fertility and, consequently, the productive potential.

Difference in Production (kg/ha) of +8.333 kg

Difference in Profitability (2ha) of +5.262 €

It is estimated that with the combined use of MycoUp and VitaSoil the crop has 7% more production.
