Natiphos– Based on Pseudomonas putida and P. fluorescens, solubilizes phosphorus and potassium from the soil, stimulates root development, and inhibits stress-induced ethylene production.

Each crop is unique.
The strategy should be too.

Methodology

The demonstration was conducted on industrial tomato (var. Heinz 1015). Conducted in clayey and saline soil, with drip irrigation, to evaluate the effect of Natiphos on production and the soil microbiome under salinity conditions.

The Natiphos was applied via irrigation on two dates, in June and July 2025, at a dose of 5 L/ha. The monitoring included sap analyses, analyses of the soil microbiome (BeCrop®, BiomeMakers) at three times (T0, T1, and T2).

Production evaluation based on plant sampling in three repetitions.

Results and Discussion

After application, the sap analyses showed an increase in potassium in the treated plants compared to the control, which remained at low levels. There was also an improvement in the Ca:Mg ratio.

At harvest, a favorable trend in production was recorded, with +8.7% of red fruits in the sampling (116.2 ton/ha in the treated and 107.6 ton/ha in the control).

The higher proportion of green fruits in the treated is consistent with a slightly delayed maturation due to the inhibition of ACC deaminase and consequent inhibition of ethylene production.

At the microbiome level, the Natiphos promoted a more functional and resilient soil: increased the global K cycle, improved P solubilization and reduced Pythium tipping by 36% and fruit rot by 37% (BiomeMakers).

Production estimate per hectare for the Control and Treated modality based on the sampling conducted.

Conclusion

The Natiphos showed positive effects on the nutritional efficiency of the crop and on the biological health of the soil: more potassium in the sap, better Ca:Mg ratio, lower disease pressure and promoted greater productivity, proving to be a product of high agronomic efficacy.

The Natiphos can be integrated with other biofertilizers and biocontrol products, such as trichoderma (e.g. Trichosym Bio), Bacillus (e.g. Greenbot) and with mycorrhizal fungi (e.g. Mycoup), which enhance the microbial biodiversity of the soil.
