The presence of organic acids, essentially lignosulfonates, and mineral components (especially calcium) promote better structure and a better state of wetting or capillarity of compacted, heavy, or impermeable soils, favoring water infiltration, preventing runoff losses, improving the retention and distribution of irrigation water and nutrients, as well as soil aeration, root development of the plant, availability and absorption of nutrients, and exchange of CO2 and O2 in the soil, promoting the development of microorganisms.
The content of calcium, magnesium, and organic matter in Numatric increases the CEC of the soil in which it is applied.
